Interim Fund VP Finance/Controller
Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking an Interim Fund VP Finance/Controller to support its management operations on a remote basis. This role focuses on financial restructuring and process improvements to streamline budget and reporting functions. It’s an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong fund management experience to make a strategic impact within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring expertise in fund management and revenue distributions while providing hands-on support to optimize financial reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Restructure financial books to streamline budgeting processes.
- Oversee fund management, including equity investments and cash flow analysis.
- Manage distribution of carries and revenues from funds.
- Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
- Support data cleanup on expenses to ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with the Fund Administration team, auditors, and external vendors.
- Prepare and present financial reports using Google Suite.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in fund management, equity investments, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in distributing fund-related revenues and implementing process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite for reporting and data management.
- Self-starter with the ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
