Our client, located in Brentwoodm TN, is seeking an experienced AVP, Workforce Management to join their team.
The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of payroll experience, with a deep understanding of healthcare organizations' pay policies, including unionized facilities.
This is a hybrid position, and relocation may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and management of workforce productivity tools, HRIS, and systems across the organization, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Lead the standardization of productivity and staffing analytics, working closely with Operations leadership and executive management.
- Ensure accurate management reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement of productivity processes.
- Collaborate with Operations Support during the annual budget process and manage resource allocation.
- Partner with HR to oversee agency staff utilization and assist in workforce planning for all facilities.
- Monitor productivity performance through recognized tools, ensuring operational policies and systems support enterprise goals.
- Act as the primary contact for facilities regarding workforce management, staffing, and productivity tools.
- Ensure compliance with project deliverables, timelines, and budgets for workforce management system implementation.
- Identify best practices and opportunities for efficiency, sharing them across the enterprise.
- Lead an 8-person remote team, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10 years of professional experience, with 5-7 years of relevant workforce management experience in healthcare.
- 10 years of Payroll Experience is required (must understand shift differentials, physician payroll practices, and union facilities).
- HRIS management and oversight (ideally UGK and Oracle).
- Strong understanding of healthcare payroll processes, including unionized facilities (Union experience preferred but not required).
- Proven track record in streamlining and automating processes, with experience in system migrations (Oracle to UKG is a plus).
- Experience managing remote teams, with the ability to lead by example and collaborate across departments.
- Ability to travel to facilities (approximately 15%, minimal overnight travel).
