Vaco is working with a leading innovator in healthcare products and services space to find a Product Integration Engineer in their Scottsdale office. In this role, you will be pivotal in orchestrating and executing the integration of cutting-edge technologies to streamline and refine the workflow for the SaaS based platforms. This role requires a blend of technical prowess and strategic coordination, ensuring that all integration projects align with the operational goals and compliance standards. Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities will be expected, but are not limited to:

  • Lead Technical Documentation: Oversee the creation and refinement of detailed technical specifications, outlining the functionality, system architecture, and integration points for new technologies. These specifications will serve as the essential guide for project execution.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure the specifications align with operational goals and strategic priorities. This includes engaging stakeholders during discovery sessions and incorporating their feedback to enhance project results.

  • Collaborative Project Oversight: Partner with product managers, developers, and engineers to ensure projects remain on schedule and are aligned with business objectives. Work closely with external vendors to integrate third-party solutions and expand project capabilities.

  • Requirements Definition: After discovery sessions, identify and document the key requirements for integration projects, including system specifications, performance benchmarks, security standards, and compliance needs. Review and refine these requirements with technical teams to ensure they fully support seamless integration and functionality.

  • Documentation Review and Refinement: Continuously revise and update project specifications based on ongoing feedback from stakeholders. Ensure that documents are accurate, complete, and finalized before they move into the development phase.

  • Project Scoping and Scheduling: Lead scoping discussions with development teams to resolve any uncertainties in the documentation. Collaborate to establish realistic timelines, resource needs, and ensure the project schedule is feasible and in line with team capabilities and project complexity.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in product management, system integration, software development, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Key Technologies: Knowledge in JSON, HL7, FHIR, and Web services.
  • Experience in Requirements Documentation: Proven ability to write detailed requirements for both internal and external development teams.
  • Strategic Planning: Skilled in defining project scopes, setting realistic timelines, and determining resource allocation to achieve project goals efficiently.
  • Leadership and Team Coordination: Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Experience with Visual Tools: Familiarity with creating wireframes and data flow diagrams using tools such as Visio.
  • DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps or similar development methodologies and systems.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with the ability to proactively address challenges with minimal direction.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
  • Database Expertise: Advanced knowledge of MS-SQL and relational databases.
  • Project Flexibility: Ability to adapt to shifting project demands and evolving technology, managing changes in project scope effectively.
