Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 431825
We are looking for candidates with hands on ASC 954 experience and its various sub-categories such as:
-An understanding of the fundamental characteristics of the revenue cycle in health care services transactions including parties to revenue transactions, patient billing systems and “gross charges”, dealing with contra-revenue accounts that include contractual allowances or adjustments, discounts, charity care, and allowances for implicit price concessions.
-Understanding how relationships with third-party payers (or when patients are uninsured, the lack of a relationship) play a significant role in how health care is purchased
-Understanding of third-party payment methodologies including fee schedules, per diem, fee for service, and per case (per discharge, per encounter, per visit) models.
-Experience with In-Network, Out-of-Network, and Medicare and Medicaid billing and revenue recognition is also greatly desired for this role.
Any experience working with creating, following, and streamlining metrics related to these important billing KPIs and metric areas would be highly beneficial as well:
-Billing Accuracy
-Claim Rejection Levels
-Denial Levels
-Denial Resolution Levels
-Third Party Payor Collection activity
-Patient Direct Collection activity
-Aging report stages
-Reporting for all above areas and presenting to Executive team when needed
