Position Summary:
- HRIS: System and workflow setup and user management
- Create reports for both company requirements, as well as government required reporting, such as ACA and EEO-1.
- Benefits and 401k administration: This individual will partner with the VP of People and Culture, CFO, and the benefits broker to administer the company’s benefits and 401k plans.
- Compliance: Keep up with changing federal and state laws and regulations to ensure company policies and processes are in compliance
- Workers Compensation: Manage workers compensation claims
- Leave of Absence: Manage all leave of absence requests and tracking
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage HRIS system implementation. This includes partnering with stakeholders, managing RFP process, and attending demos to pick the right system, as well as managing the implementation of that system once chosen
- Manage the HRIS system administration, including user setup, workflow management, manager assistance
- Partner with L&D on all HRIS manager and user training
- Partner with Employee Experience Manager on Performance Review setup in the HRIS system
- Create and manage system generated reports of all sorts, for HR, company leadership, community leaders
- Manage all government required reporting, such as ACA and EEO-1
- Partner with VP of People and Culture, CFO, and Benefits Broker on benefit plan administration, including system set up, open enrollment communication and meetings, and answering day to day benefit questions
- Partner with VP of People and Culture, CFO, and 401k plan administrator on 401k plan administration, including system administration, integration with HRIS system, approving payroll reports, new hire communication, and answering day to day questions
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business, or related field
- At least three years’ experience in employee benefits
- At least three years’ experience managing an HRIS system
- A strong understanding of employment law
- Experience with LoA, FMLA, and ADA compliance
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to create reports and graphs
- Proven experience with compliance reporting such as ACA and EEO-1
- Experience as 401(k) plan administrator
