Title: Controller

Job Description: The Corporate Controller will oversee accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring the integrity of financial data while driving process improvements. This leadership role involves managing an accounting team, including offshore resources, and contributing to the company's growth through strategic financial oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the timely and accurate financial close process, including managing accruals, adjustments, and the G/L close
- Oversee tax compliance (sales/use tax, VAT returns, corporate income tax)
- Strengthen internal controls to protect company assets and optimize workflows
- Scale the accounting function through ERP system updates, revenue recognition, and cost accounting improvements
- Stay updated on technical accounting, ensuring compliance with new GAAP pronouncements
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience); CPA and/or CMA certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
- 7-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven ability to coach and communicate effectively with teams
- Experience in tech or fast-paced industries preferred
- Expertise with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Adaptive)
