Financial Analyst POST NUMBER: 434087
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst for their fully onsite opening. In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support business decisions. You will provide strategic insights through data analysis, identify trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, financial models, and KPI reports to monitor performance against targets and locations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support forecasting, expense management, & budget planning processes
- Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations to align with business objectives.
- Create and/or support the development of financial related models and ensure they are accurate and updated to reflect evolving business dynamics
- Support strategic decision-making by delivering ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling.
- Act as a financial partner to various departments, providing insights and recommendations to drive profitability.
- Assists revenue cycle leaders to investigate and design strategic initiatives in order to improve revenue cycle statistics, reporting capabilities, and overall performance.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction, particularly in areas like patient care, billing, and operational expenses.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
- Leverage financial systems and tools to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree is a minimum educational requirement for this position and cannot be waived.
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis and corporate finance.
- Experience working within the healthcare industry preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Great Plains) and reporting / BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Hyperion, Tableau)
