Financial Close & Reporting
- Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes for all balance sheet accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Support statutory financial reporting and external audit requirements.
- Oversee the consolidation process for multiple entities, ensuring proper elimination of intercompany transactions.
- Work closely with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
- Develop and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures related to balance sheet reconciliations and consolidations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with SOX/internal control frameworks where applicable.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit queries.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS standards and support the implementation of new accounting policies.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred).
- 5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and balance sheet management, preferably in a multinational or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, including consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with financial controls in a SOX-compliant environment.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of foreign currency translation and multi-entity consolidations.
