

Financial Analyst Consultant (Manager/Director) CONTRACT POST NUMBER: 444044
Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Consultant to join a dynamic team. As the company continues to grow and expand, there is critical need for advanced financial modeling to support the strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing robust financial models that will drive the business forward. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, providing valuable insights and recommendations that will shape the future of the organization.
Compensation: $50-80/hr
The Role:
- Financial planning and analysis leader will be supporting multiple projects for investment and portfolio company
- revamp and update the 13 week cashflow model and possibly other reporting that they are using
- must be able to assess the inputs (i.e. cash, collections) and outputs (i.e. vendor, expenses) from a high level to then dig deep to update the model hands on
- Determine best approach - run rate/trend modeling or more specific customer/vendor modeling
- Document the processes around the model so a perm person can take it and manage it going forward
- Excel is used for modeling but also use Tableau, current forecast is in Excel
- Budgeting, forecasting, long-range financial planning
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual close, analyzing resulting and providing explanations
- Prepare monthly analysis on key financial statement accounts (income statements and balance sheets)
- Prepare cash flow forecasting and analysis, presenting to key stakeholders
- Review and analyze P&L to ensure accuracy of financial statements as well as compliance with GAAP and company standards
- Ensure accuracy of monthly revenue and expenses
- Lead financial projects including cost analysis, ROI, client/customer growth analysis, pricing and other projects to analyze and help in the success of the business
- Serve as business partner cross-functionally, partnering on projects and providing guidance
- Create, build and manipulate dashboards using large sets of data
- Preparing and presenting financial results cross-functionally and to executive leadership
- 5 years of progressive FP&A leadership experience
- Bachelor’s in finance or similar, MBA preferred
- Systems – Advanced Excel; data analytics tool preferred such as Tableau and Power BI
- Solutions-oriented and highly engaged
- Professional written and verbal communication, ability to communicate cross-functionally and at an executive level
- Displayed ability to see business impacts of financial decisions
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
