Retail Liquidation Manager
Project-Based W2 Assignment | Nationwide Travel | Remote-Based
Overview
Our client is hiring Retail Liquidation Managers to lead store transition projects and high-volume sales events across the U.S. This is a hands-on, travel-based role ideal for experienced retail leaders who thrive in dynamic, team-driven environments.
This is a W2 position with full-time hours during each project assignment, employer-paid travel support, and weekly pay. Assignments typically last 8–12 weeks, with additional opportunities available based on the needs of the business.
Compensation & Travel
  • Weekly Pay: $2,750/week (includes taxable base non-taxable per diem)
  • Bonus Opportunity: Up to 50% of base earnings per project
  • Travel & Lodging: Airfare, car rental, and hotel expenses covered; per diem provided for meals and incidentals
Note: In accordance with applicable labor laws, employees residing in or assigned to states such as California, New York, or Illinois may be eligible to request additional business expense reimbursements. Requests are reviewed individually by our client, the employer.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee on-site operations during retail transition and sales events
  • Partner with store teams to manage inventory, execution, and day-to-day activity
  • Maintain strong team productivity and lead through fast-changing conditions

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in multi-unit or large-format retail
  • Prior experience with Retail Liquidations, Store Closures, or High-Impact Promotional Events is a plus.
  • Background in department, discount, grocery, hardware, or specialty retail
  • Comfortable managing teams in changing environments and on tight timelines
  • Proficient in Excel and POS systems
  • Open to nationwide travel with short notice
  • Flexible with extended hours and weekend work during projects
