Director of Finance
Location: Long Island City, NY- Hybrid
Compensation: $175k-190k base

We're seeking a dynamic Director of Finance to lead our Accounting Department and drive continuous improvement. Reporting to the SVP of Finance, you'll oversee daily operations, implement scalable processes, and play a key role in our ERP implementation.
What You'll Do:
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, ensuring clear communication across the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement scalable policies and procedures to enhance accounting efficiency.
  • ERP Implementation: Assist with all aspects of our new ERP implementation, including staff training.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure GAAP compliance and prepare executive financial briefings.
  • System Optimization: Streamline financial recording, particularly client sales transactions, and optimize NetSuite.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for general financial operations.
  • Training and Support: Partner with IT to support new system training and ensure data integrity.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related (Master's preferred).
  • 5 years of accounting experience (private industry or private/public mix or Big Six).
  • Audit/assurance experience required; CPA highly preferred.
  • NetSuite, Microsoft Systems, and banking portal experience required. Tipalti a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, especially revenue recognition (ASC 606).
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Training experience is a plus.
