Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting operations of the organization. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic insight and hands-on experience and serve as a key financial partner to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes and prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll

Develop and manage internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance

Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses

Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and operational improvements

Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements

Supervise and mentor accounting staff; build a high-performing finance team

Implement and maintain accounting systems and process improvements

Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and risk management

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
