Business Analyst – Enterprise Applications POST NUMBER: 441830

One of our Houston midstream clients is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to be the primary point of contact for the enterprise business user community in support of corporate applications that include Microsoft Teams and applications and services that have been developed using the Microsoft SharePoint platform.
This position will also support other applications including Atlassian, Jira, and Microsoft Purview. The company is increasing it use of the Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Automate, Apps, BI) and this position will be involved in the development of solutions using Power Platform.
This position will interact and work directly with business users to ensure their business requirements and workflow processes are being effectively supported. Position responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of stakeholder business requirements and process workflows
- Work with business users to analyze system enhancement requirements needed to support new or changed business requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation related to business requirements, process workflows, system functional requirements specifications, testing procedures, etc.
- Monitor ITSM system (i.e., Freshservice) and perform problem analysis and application troubleshooting to resolve questions and issues identified by users
- Collaborate with application developers (e.g., SharePoint, .NET) to design and develop application solutions that effectively support identified business requirements
- Provide leadership, coordination and status reporting for application enhancements projects
- 6 years of IT industry experience
- 4 years of experience working as a Business Analyst
- 2 years of experience working as a BA supporting the SharePoint platform
- Demonstrated experience providing support for the Microsoft Team platform
- Working knowledge of ITSM and work management practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Freshservice)
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading project-related activities
- Preferred experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
