Location: North County San Diego - Flexible Hybrid Schedule
Job Title: Senior Corporate Accountant
Salary Range: $80k - 110k Bonus RSUs
Job Overview: The Senior Corporate Accountant will be a key member of the General Ledger team by assisting in the overall month-end close process for the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries across various account balances
- Perform account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies to ensure accuracy
- Provide variance explanations for fluctuations in financial results
- Assess and apply appropriate GAAP accounting treatment for complex or non-routine transactions
- Collaborate on one-off accounting projects and special initiatives as needed
- Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and required documentation
- Assist in preparing SEC reporting support schedules and internal management reports
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting accuracy and alignment with business objectives
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business Administration
