Job Title: New Business Sales Manager – Sell Side
Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in-office in NYC)
Salary Range: $155,000 – $165,000
Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing New Business Sales Manager to focus on Sell Side clients within the financial data intelligence sector. This role is ideal for a driven and strategic sales professional who thrives on building new relationships and delivering value to clients such as banks, broker-dealers, and exchanges. You will be a key player in an ambitious growth initiative, responsible for developing new revenue streams and capturing market share in a highly competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities with new clients, building relationships where none previously existed

  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client goals, pain points, and data requirements

  • Partner closely with SDRs for seamless lead handoff and efficient progression through the sales funnel

  • Tailor presentations and product demos to each client, leveraging deep industry knowledge to establish trust and relevance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, ensuring pipeline visibility and reporting integrity

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals, contributing to broader revenue targets

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on Sell Side institutions (banks, broker-dealers, exchanges, etc.)

  • Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving new business

  • Consultative sales skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively

  • Proficient with Salesforce and adept at managing a structured sales process

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for delivering value to clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of current trends in financial data, analytics, or financial technology

  • Experience using data analysis tools to inform sales strategies and uncover opportunities

  • Background in OTC derivatives markets

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt quickly to shifting priorities

  • Skilled in navigating a high-performance, fast-paced environment
