JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a BI Manager for a 6M C2H opportunity that is 100% remote-based. The BI Manager will lead the data-driven decision-making efforts by supporting development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide BI strategies, tools and reporting systems. The BI Manager will working hand-in-hand with the Head of Business Intelligence and other Division/Department Heads to translate business needs into actionable insights, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and clarity. The BI Manager must be highly analytical and detail-oriented and have a proven track record of turning complex data into strategic opportunities for growth.
- Develop BI-Related Solutions to Complex Data Challenges
- Support Design / Maintenance of Scalable BI Platforms / Dashboards / Reporting Systems
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to Define KPIs / Metrics / Data Visualization
- Manage PowerBI / BI Tools – Ensure Seamless Integration with Core Business Systems
- Analyze Trends / Patterns – Providing Strategic Insight / Recommendations
- Ensure Data Governance / Quality / Compliance Standards are Upheld
- Manage Incoming Demand to BI Team – Prioritizing / Assessing Requests based on Priority / Capacity / Suitability of the Request for the Team
- Work Across All Business Units – Educating Key Users in the Use of Data / Reporting / Analytics Tools
- Breakdown Complex Problems / Projects into Manageable Goals – Aligning Data Initiatives with the Overall Business Strategy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- BI Manager – Managing a Team of 3 PowerBI Developers | Excel / PowerBI (advanced)
- IT Data Architecture / Database Design (strong understanding) – SQL (hands-on) | Data Modeling / Data Integration Concepts
- Data Management Projects – Data Warehousing / Big Data / Business Intelligence / Reporting / Analytics
- Direct Stakeholder / Department Head, etc. Interfacing - Define KPIs / Metrics / Data Visualization
