Position Summary:
We are hiring a Bank Project Mgr (Fraud & Controls) to drive the execution of a Control Center of Excellence within a complex fraud and claims environment. This role leads high-visibility, multi-stream initiatives focused on control standardization, process alignment, and governance enablement.
The ideal candidate blends structured project leadership with a deep understanding of financial crimes, controls implementation, and regulatory readiness. You’ll manage cross-functional timelines, facilitate communication across stakeholders, and ensure delivery is aligned to internal risk standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution

Build and maintain a comprehensive project plan including timelines, milestones, and resource planning

Lead project execution from initiation through delivery across multiple workstreams
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

Serve as primary point of contact for internal teams, control owners, and leadership

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, regular meetings, and progress reporting
Risk & Issue Management

Proactively monitor risk, dependencies, and blockers

Drive resolution strategies and dynamic adjustments as priorities shift
Reporting & Governance

Provide structured reporting on project health, KPIs, timelines, and resource allocation

Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and regulatory alignment
Qualifications:

5 years of experience in project management in banking, financial services, or regulated environments

Experience managing fraud, claims, or control framework projects highly preferred

Strong familiarity with internal controls and enterprise governance models

Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)

Tools: MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to manage complex timelines and lead through ambiguity
