

Accounts Payable Specialist - 6 Month Contract POST NUMBER: 446278
About the Opportunity
- Review, code, and process invoices in accordance with company policies and project budgets
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, freelancers, contractors, and production partners
- Communicate with internal departments to obtain invoice approvals and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records
- Reconcile AP transactions and assist with month-end close procedures
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on AP aging, cash disbursements, and accruals
- Support audits by providing documentation and reports as needed
- Collaborate with production and post-production teams to track spend by project
- Help maintain financial systems and workflows to support scalability and efficiency
About You
- 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting role
- Experience working in the media, entertainment, or creative industries preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Familiarity with production accounting workflows and terminology is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a creative, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving

Salary Range
$25 - $26 an hour
