- Lead and contribute to the preparation of quarterly financial reporting materials, including consolidated financial statements, Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), press releases, and investor presentations, ensuring accuracy and transparency in external disclosures.
- Analyze key financial and operational performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Oversee the monthly corporate financial close, including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany allocations, G&A expenses, and balance sheet analysis.
- Manage the corporate budgeting and forecasting process, conducting quarterly variance analyses to compare actual performance against budget
- Identify and implement financial systems and reporting automation solutions,
- Research complex accounting issues, corporate transactions, and lease agreements, and provide guidance on technical accounting policies and documentation.
- Collaborate with the Tax department to ensure compliance with reporting requirements, support quarterly tax provision analysis, and liaise with external auditors
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including strategic finance, operations finance, debt finance, and investment teams,
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, supporting their professional development.
About You
- CPA, CA
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience,
- Preference for Real Estate industry experience or other relevant industry experience
- Experience with IFRS reporting standard
Salary Range
$125,000 - $140,000/year
