- Ensure that all monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting and variance analysis is accurately prepared and distributed on a timely basis
- Manage the day-to-day accounting for the Head Office and Corporate Service Group entities and ensure a timely and disciplined monthly close process.
- Prepare and review working papers, reports and other documentation for the annual financial statement and pension plan audit and engage with external auditors as required
- Collaborate with the FP&A team in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the Head Office and Corporate Service Group entities.
- Ensure that tax compliance obligations are met for monthly HST and annual corporate tax returns.
- Ensure the compliance and enhancement of internal controls and financial processes
- Coordinate shared services activities with the corporate accounts payable and payroll shared service group
- Researching accounting and tax issues, writing policy memorandums and identifying accounting standard and tax updates
About You
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
- Public accounting experience
- CPA designation
- A university degree in commerce, accounting or equivalent
Salary Range
$110,000 - $130,000/year
