

Purchasing Coordinator POST NUMBER: 446785
Location: Aliso Viejo (onsite)
Temp: 4 month assignment, possibility to go temp-to-hire
Pay Ragne: $32-$35/hr.
The Purchasing Coordinator supports the purchasing team by managing administrative tasks and ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves updating and tracking pricing, managing bid information, coordinating vendor relationships, and assisting with cost analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist with bid packages, options, data entry, and maintaining vendor files and reports.
- Bid Management: Prepare and distribute bid packages, manage the master bid list, and ensure Scopes of Work are up-to-date for all vendors.
- Cost Tracking & Budget Management: Monitor and update project costs, analyze monthly price changes, and ensure budgets reflect accurate pricing and adjustments.
- Purchase Orders & Change Orders: Review, process, and track purchase orders, change orders, and notices to proceed. Resolve any issues related to invoicing and purchase orders.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Track new vendor applications, verify insurance, and manage contract administration. Ensure timely vendor transitions and pricing updates.
- Reporting & Data Maintenance: Assist with the preparation of quarterly reports, manage pricing databases, and track all costs and budgets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and trade partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- 1-2 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or construction (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of project budgets, contracts, work orders, and scope documentation
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Strong system acumen for data entry and reporting
