Strategic Finance & Operations Manager
Our client, a global technology company in the SaaS space, is seeking a Strategic Finance & Operations Manager to support its high-growth business. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across finance, operations, and executive leadership. Candidates will help shape strategic decisions, drive financial planning, and support operational efficiency. This is a fully remote role, with some flexibility required to accommodate meetings with international colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly forecasting processes, including variance analysis and preparation of financial reports for senior leadership
- Contribute to board reporting and executive performance reviews
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide strategic insights and support business planning
- Build and maintain robust financial models to guide forecasting and decision-making
- Drive budgeting and annual operating planning in alignment with company priorities
- Support ad-hoc strategic projects with financial and operational analysis
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or strategic finance—ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and presenting to senior leadership
- Proficient in analyzing large datasets to identify trends, benchmarks, and opportunities
Compensation:
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $120K - $160K per year. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
