Job Description:
The Senior Analyst – BI (Merchant Analytics) would be responsible for the development and maintenance of engaging and intuitive dashboards at scale, that will provide actionable insights to Senior Leadership and support strategic decisions within Merchandising. Candidate must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem, an innate curiosity to ask the next logical question, and the ability to develop conclusions using quantitative, qualitative, exploratory, and predictive data analytics skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate with cross functional business leaders to ascertain pressing data needs and work towards unlocking the data pipelines.
- Design, Implement and Maintain interactive Business Intelligence dashboards using Tableau.
- Establish data architecture and analytics best practices for delivering optimal BI reporting solutions with minimal refresh latency.
- Develop standardized data preparation methodologies for maintaining efficiency.
- Manage all technical facets of the project including but not limited to data analysis, scripting, quality assurance and documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Analytics, Information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant fields.
- 4 years of experience using Tableau. Knowledge of other BI tools like PowerBI is a plus but not essential.
- 4 years of experience with SQL using BigQuery, SQL Server or comparable database systems.
- Experience with Analytics tools such as KNIME or Alteryx is a plus.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player with an attitude of peer development and knowledge sharing.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; self-starter.
