

Accounts Receivable Manager POST NUMBER: 441568
This role is crucial for ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collection of outstanding debts, and effective cash inflow management. Responsibilities include supervising the AR team, implementing policies and procedures, and collaborating with other departments to enhance financial processes and minimize outstanding receivables. Additionally, the AR Manager will ensure that all reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients.
- Monitor and manage collections, resolving any disputes or discrepancies.
- Maintain records of payments and account statuses
- Supervise, train, and mentor accounts receivable staff.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
- Develop and maintain a positive and productive team environment
- Track and forecast cash inflows from receivables.
- Analyze trends to improve cash flow and minimize outstanding balances.
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
- Establish credit limits and payment terms.
- Implement policies to mitigate credit risks.
- Develop and refine AR policies and procedures.
- Implement automation tools or systems to improve efficiency.
- Work with IT and finance teams to improve AR-related processes
- Prepare regular reports on receivables status, collections, and aging.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and financial regulations.
- Creates a variety of ad hoc reports and work on special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a related finance role.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; must be strong in Excel
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft 365
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter that can perform with minimal direction/intervention
- Positive, enthusiastic, motivated team player that can perform under deadline
- Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
