- Develop and maintain financial and operational models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flows and support the operating strategies of the business.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business and collaborate with the leaders of the business units to gather inputs and assumptions for the financial planning and forecasting process.
- Consolidated financial forecasts from all subsidiaries to support corporate planning and decision-making
- Analyze trends, variances, and performance metrics to provide insights into business performance and future financial outlook.
- Develop and oversee a monthly forecasting and planning process to drive business decisions and operating strategy.
- Develop and oversee a five year forecasting model for long-term capital and operational planning
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, board of directors and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making on business initiatives, investments, and strategic projects.
- Provide insightful commentary on financial performance, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior management, offering financial expertise and guidance to support their decision-making processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to drive financial performance and operational efficiencies.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to assess growth opportunities, evaluate potential investments, and mitigate risks.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for expansion.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, forecast financial performance, and support strategic initiatives.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance and track progress against strategic objectives.
- Analyze potential M&A opportunities, conduct due diligence, and support negotiations to drive growth and expansion
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, business administration, or accounting. MB or a Master's degree in Finance, Economics an asset
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, strategic planning, or related fields.
- Demonstrated a track record of success in financial analysis, strategic planning, forecasting, and business partnering.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and interaction with senior management,
- Experience in financial modeling, market research, and M&A analysis
- Strong Proficiency in Google and MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint).
$90,000 to $105,000/year
