As a member of the Global finance team, the Head of Global FP&A and BI will report to the Director, Corporate Finance and have the opportunity to collaborate with various parts of the Company, including sales, value streams, and operations. This role focuses on financial planning and analysis, with a strong emphasis on driving P&L forecasting, cash flow forecasting, KPIs, and annual business planning. A successful candidate will be prepared to make meaningful contributions to business performance through data-driven insights and strategic financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the global company's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, focusing on the annual budget and monthly rolling forecast for Bookings, P&L, and Cash Flow. • Lead a global FP&A Community of Practice, working with local Finance and FP&A teams to implement scalable policies, processes, and templates that optimize reporting accuracy. • Conduct sales and margin analysis to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data aligns with operations needs and strategic objectives such as pricing strategies, sales incentive plans, product development, sales channel growth, and investment opportunities. • Oversee overhead cost analysis to optimize spending and ensure budget adherence. • Develop and lead the annual planning process to align financial goals with overall long-term business objectives. • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership during the monthly business review process (Leadership Decision Week) to drive profitability and operational efficiency. • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the finance department and regularly report on performance against targets and competitive benchmarking. • Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals to enhance their skills and performance. • Drive company-wide productivity by enhancing and implementing function-related tools, including Power BI and Prophix. • Provide sales data consistent with the sales incentives plan design for human resources. Key Responsibilities (Cont’d): • Maintain quality master data in PowerBI by dimension for Sales, Operations, Sourcing, and Finance. • Ad-hoc projects and analysis as required. What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you should bring: Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field – Master’s Degree preferred. • CPA designation is required. • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (including 3 years in a management role). • Proven leadership experience in leading a high-performing team and driving results. • Experience in a configured manufacturing environment is a strong advantage. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., INFOR LN, Power BI, Prophix). • Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, forecasting, and sales incentive plan analysis expertise. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • A passion for data-driven decision-making and strategic analysis. • Knowledge of international finance and currency markets is desirable.
