Sr. AP Specialist POST NUMBER: 447693
Key Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle invoices, matching to POs and receipts for accuracy
- Ensure timely vendor payments, avoiding late fees and maximizing discounts
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment inquiries and discrepancies
- Reconcile vendor statements, ensuring accuracy and timely issue resolution
- Partner with procurement, plants, and finance teams to support AP workflow
- Assist with audit documentation and special AP-related projects
- Provide mentorship to junior AP staff and help ensure team efficiency
- 5–10 years of AP experience in a high-volume, large company environment
- Proficiency in a large ERP system (Oracle preferred; JDE, SAP, MS Dynamics also acceptable)
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, large data sets)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience working across departments and in shared service environments
- Solid work history; preference for candidates with stable career paths
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution
- Knowledge of the full procure-to-pay process
- Familiarity with JDE is a plus
