Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate fiscal records in compliance with GAAP and strong internal controls. Oversee all accounting transactions, focusing on cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, and accruals.
  • Update standard costs annually (or as needed) and collaborate with Engineering, Customer Service, and Production to validate costs, analyze manufacturing variances, and improve financial accuracy.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and annual financial reports and presents them to plant leadership, and the Corporate Finance team.  This includes but is not limited to the Monthly Business Review (MBR), weekly cash flow and sales forecasts, the annual budget, P&L forecasts, and special projects
  • Report on key financial metrics, including EBITDA, operating cash flow and other KPIs.  Analyzes variances to metrics, investigates trends in the business and uses this information to make accurate forecasts and decisions to maximize profitability.  
  • Work with other departments to encourage an environment of continuous improvement and drive cost reduction
  • Prepare and/or approve the business case for capital investments and manage the capital budget
  • Use Epicor (ERP system) to record accounting transactions and provide financial support to other members of the Management team to assist in decision-making processes.  Utilizes OneStream consolidation system to submit weekly/monthly/annual reports and information 
  • Establish credit limits for new customers and determine credit rating and risks.  Analyze ongoing AR issues regarding credit terms and timely payment schedules
  • Collaborate and share leading practices with other Finance Managers and Corporate Finance team
