

Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 447011
This position is responsible for overseeing the financial statement close process and executing key financial reporting and corporate accounting activities. The role ensures the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams to monitor accounting operations, identify process improvements, and maintain strong internal controls to support accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a corporate accounting team while collaborating closely with international accountants to ensure consistency in global financial reporting.
- Manage daily corporate general ledger operations, including review and posting of journal entries and resolution of accounting issues.
- Oversee preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow) and detailed working capital analyses.
- Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Perform global lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842 and manage accounting for intercompany notes and transactions.
- Prepare quarterly financial reporting packages for the parent company and support global statutory audits and external audit processes.
- Drive process improvements, policy development, and system automation across the accounting organization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field?required.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of accounting experience with 1 years of supervisory experience?required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of preparing financial statements, reports, and footnotes required.
- Public and private experience required
- Experience in multinational, multicurrency required
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite, Great Plains, Oracle or SAP is required.
- Heavy Excel work required.
