JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Technical Lead (.NET / Azure) for a 6M C2H or Direct-Hire / Perm (based on candidate preference) opportunity that is located in Addison, TX 75001 (onsite 4-days per week). The Technical Lead (.NET / Azure) will support and guide a SCRUM Team (comprised of 8, with 5 direct reports) focusing on code review, solution design, modern development techniques, and troubleshooting while developing and supporting a core business application.

- Actively Participate in Database (SQL Server) Performance Optimization
- Design / Deploy Enterprise-Level .NET Applications
- Support / Guide the Migration of Key Components to Azure Cloud
About the Project: The Technical Lead (.NET / Azure) will be over a .NET / Cloud-based application that is heavily utilized for forms and data intake purposes. This particular team is farther along in modernizing the application and utilizing Azure Cloud / Services more effectively, whereas some other internal teams have not moved this far along in their modernization efforts. The Technical Lead will be 50% hands-on development (individual contributor) and 50% team leadership / mentorship (code reviews, etc.) and designing solutions. The Technical Lead will drive the continued modernization of the applications.

- Technical Debt Identification – Assess Codebase / Architecture / Overall System Design to Pinpoint Key Areas Hindering Future Development and/or Requiring Significant Effort to Address Later | Identify / Address Outdated/Legacy Code / Poor Database Design / Lack of Documentation / No Coding Standardization Practices / Monolithic/Rigid Design / Outdated UI, etc.)
