Job Title: Director of FP&A
Location: On-site in New York City (5 days/week)
Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 bonus

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of FP&A to join a leading global real estate investment firm. The role involves overseeing financial analysis for a Private Funds portfolio, including the preparation and maintenance of various analytical reports, financial models, and presentations. This dynamic position requires close collaboration with teams across different business functions, including Asset Management, Investor Relations, and Finance Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate the quarterly valuations and performance results for private funds, ensuring they are reported in compliance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Analyze and review annual business plans for private fund investments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage financial models for private funds, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly performance track records for Real Estate Private Funds, summarizing key financial metrics.
  • Provide monthly reports, including analysis of liquidity position, foreign exchange (FX), and hedge strategies for private funds.
  • Lead and manage ad-hoc projects, financial analyses, and reporting tasks as required by senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Continuously drive improvements in valuation processes, reporting procedures, and the integration of technology tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on real estate FP&A.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including complex financial modeling.
  • Experience with tools like iLevel, Anaplan, and PowerBI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently to meet objectives.
  • Creative and solution-oriented approach to process improvement and problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
