Staff Accountant POST NUMBER: 441279
Responsibilities
- Prepare workpapers and journal entries related to employee expense reports, office invoices, and cost allocations
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and weekly cash tracking updates
- Assist with the completion of quarter end deliverables including workpaper files, financial statements, capital account statements and various ad hoc reports
- Prepare and reconcile management fee calculations
- Ensure timely invoicing and collection of receivables
- Process wires and transfers on online banking systems
- Assist year-end audit process in collaboration with auditors
- Assist with tax compliance
- Fulfill ad hoc requests from internal and external constituents
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2-3 years of work experience
- Strong academic record with demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analytical ability
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Superior work ethic with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong understanding of accounting
- Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
- Ability to wear multiple hats as is expected in a rapidly growing firm
