What is the opportunity?
- Working with a multi-discipline group, including both technology and stakeholder groups, to drive creation of infrastructure and reporting views that will help establish an optimized and data-driven funding practice.
- Driving data and business analysis, recommending solutions, and working with development teams to realize it and evolve the vision through the implementation journey.
- Individual will accomplish this by teamwork, having a can-do mindset, with a hands-on approach and focus on details.
What will you do?
- Work independently with minimal supervision, but provide regular updates on progress and potential risks
- Perform detailed data coverage and attribute gap analysis on capital market data (including, but not limited to, equity derivatives e.g. TRS, Structured notes, Options, futures etc.) and design an asset/ liability forecast view of these products.
- Support proposals with factual information derived from detailed data analysis
- Demonstrate good working knowledge of front to back booking flows for equities and optimal functional architecture concepts (i.e. what systems in the flow should do what activities etc.)
- Build effective working relationships with other technology and business teams to advance the analysis and delivery
- Translate business requirements into easily understandable functional and technical requirement documents
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- Minimum of undergraduate degree coupled with at least 10 years overall experience in a Business Analysis or Development role
- Capital Markets, Treasury or Finance experience
- Excellent data exploration/ analysis skills using SQL, MS Excel and/or similar tools
- Stakeholder engagement and management experience with large scale projects
- Experience of working within the IT and financial services industry
Nice-to-have:
- Industry qualification such as CFA, FRM etc.
- Experience with equity derivatives products
- Understanding of ALM-Asset Liability Management
- Experience in money market and secured financing trading functions
- Masters degree in Computer science, Finance or a related field
