Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: Downtown, NYC
Salary: $30-35/hour
Type: Temporary with the possibility to convert to a permanent position
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week, on-site
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator with a background in hospitality or restaurant management to oversee our accounts payable functions. This temporary role offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial operations and vendor relations within our organization. There is potential for this position to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable Oversight: Manage and coordinate all accounts payable activities related to the entire tin building, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- 3-Way Matching: Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts, including batching and coding of invoices.
- Check and ACH Processing: Process payments via checks and ACH transactions, including cutting live checks as needed.
- Invoice Management: Handle invoice requests, process and track invoices, and ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, address issues, and ensure proper handling of vendor invoices and payments.
- Intercompany Billing: Oversee intercompany billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
- System Utilization: Utilize MS Dynamics 365 for financial tasks; familiarity with this system is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Hospitality/Restaurant Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred, as this role involves managing financial operations in this sector.
- 3-Way Matching Experience: Proven experience with 3-way matching, including the ability to match, batch, and code invoices.
- Check and ACH Processing: Demonstrated experience in processing checks and ACH transactions, with the capability to cut live checks.
- Vendor Management: Strong experience in managing vendor relationships and handling invoice requests.
- MS Dynamics 365: Experience with MS Dynamics 365 is advantageous but not mandatory.
- On-Site Requirement: Availability to work on-site in Downtown, NYC, 5 days a week.
