

Accounts Receivable Specialist POST NUMBER: 419839
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
- Payment Processing: Process incoming payments by recording transactions and reconciling the accounts.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any payment issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes regarding customer accounts or billing.
- Aging Reports: Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate actions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Support: Provide support during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts receivable process.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
Working Conditions:
