Our client is sourcing a Director FP&A for a 6-month contract.
About the Opportunity
- Lead the development of annual operating and capital budget process
- Build and modify the company’s internal rate of return and pricing models with input from business leaders
- Analyze financial data and identify trends to inform strategy and decision making
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly reporting package and Board updates
- Provide senior leaders with a summary of financial performance, performance vs budget, risks, and opportunities
- Preparation and presentation of monthly operational KPI’s in coordination with the Finance and Accounting partners and Operational teams
- Present financial commentaries, presentations, and documents in concise and easy to digest formats to support key financial deliverables
- Partner with accounting and business partners during the monthly close process to evaluate results and explain variances
- Drive cross-functional projects to enhance EBITDA
- Drive the design of the data strategy to optimize business performance
- Support ad hoc projects and help define systems and process improvements to support the company’s growth
- Act as a finance business partner to other functions
- Lead special projects related to analysis
About You
- Minimum 6 years of FP&A experience (financial modelling, KPIs etc.)
- People management (at least supervisory, indirect report experience)
- Smaller to mid-size company, hands on
- CPA is an asset
- Industry: Open, prefers Telecommunications, construction, project-based, consulting or similar
