Vice President of Human Resources – Entertainment/Tech Industry
Location: Santa Monica, CA (On-Site)
Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 Incentives (DOE)

Vaco LA is partnering with a rapidly growing Entertainment/Tech company looking for a VP of HR to lead and expand its HR operations, culture, and talent strategy. Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Strategy
- Design and execute HR initiatives that support company growth and business goals.
- Partner with executives and department heads to drive a people-first culture.
- Build and lead a high-performing HR team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Talent & Organizational Development
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top industry talent.
- Develop career growth programs, leadership training, and succession planning.
- Enhance employee experience through engagement, recognition, and development programs.
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
- Manage conflict resolution, performance concerns, and employee relations with a balanced and strategic approach.
- Lead company-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee all HR policies, processes, and compliance efforts in line with federal and state regulations.
- Manage compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR systems to optimize efficiency.
- Implement HR technology solutions and process improvements to scale operations effectively.
Qualifications
- 10 years of HR leadership experience (Director level or above).
- Bachelor’s Degree required; HR certifications are a plus.
- Experience leading HR operations in the Entertainment or Tech industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of implementing HRIS systems and streamlining HR processes.
