Vaco has partnered with a company looking for a payroll administrator to join their team!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll processing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for employees on a timely basis, including calculating wages, deductions, and overtime, and ensuring accuracy of data entry.

  2. Data Entry and Maintenance: Enter and maintain employee data in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, changes in salary or benefits, and other updates.

  3. Timekeeping Management: Review and verify timecards or timesheets for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

  4. Benefits Administration: Assist with administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  5. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including withholding taxes, preparing and filing tax returns, and responding to tax inquiries or audits.

  6. Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation, including employee files, pay stubs, tax forms, and other payroll-related documents in compliance with retention policies.

  7. Reporting: Generate payroll reports as needed for management, HR, and finance departments, providing insights and analysis on payroll-related metrics.

  8. Compliance: Stay current with changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

  9. Customer Service: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
