Must Haves:
-California HR duties, no one else in the company that understands CA law- Will be crucial this consultant has strong knowledge of CA HR.
-Needs strong HR resources, fully versed in onboarding/day to day duties.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Assists with the administration and execution of the Company's new hire orientation program
- Assists with Company's Employee Development initiatives, including coordinating HR-related training to employees, as directed
- Assists with developing and tracking compliance with Company HR policies and procedures.
- Responsibilities include communicating any issues to the HR Director, proposing solutions to HR related issues, etc.
- Ensures appropriate administration of state and federal documentation required. (i.e., e-verify, etc.)
- Assists with and provides support of employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high-level mutual respect, fairness, and employee morale
- Supports leadership on performance coaching, personnel matters, and concerns to ensure consistency and to maintain a positive work environment
- Facilitates information between different functions (i.e., compensation, benefits, etc.) within the HR team
- Effectively deploys performance management and rewards processes/practices within department(s) to drive required levels of employee accountability for desired performance results and ensure retention of top performers
- Assists with the maintenance of the Company's HRIS system and develops and issues reports as needed (i.e., job titles, performance evaluations, etc.)
- Ensures personnel files and other documentation are retained as required

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
