

Senior Accountant (Yardi ERP Experience) POST NUMBER: 448124
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant with Yardi ERP experience to join their growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, hands-on experience with Yardi software, and a deep understanding of real estate or property management financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting functions across the property portfolio, including AP, AR, and general ledger activities.

Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in Yardi ERP.

Prepare and analyze property-level and consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and tenant ledgers.

Post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries as needed.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across multiple assets.

Collaborate closely with property managers and regional leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Prepare audit schedules and support annual external audit processes.

Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required (CPA or CPA track preferred).

3–5 years of accounting experience in the real estate or property management industry.

Strong, hands-on experience with Yardi ERP is required – familiarity with Voyager and additional modules (e.g., PayScan, Investment Management) is a plus.

Thorough understanding of GAAP and property-level accounting.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
