Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Reporting: Lead financial close processes, ensure compliance, manage tax planning, and provide strategic financial recommendations.
- Revenue Cycle Supervision: Oversee client billing, collection processes, and accounts receivable tracking, implementing policies to optimize cash flow.
- Payroll & Accounts Payable: Manage payroll accuracy, vendor payments, and tax filings while ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Treasury & Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and fraud prevention measures to support financial stability.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking to drive strategic decision-making.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish best practices in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage financial staff, fostering efficiency and professional development.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification, with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
- 5 years of general accounting experience
- Experience in one of the following industries is required: law, professional services, staffing, construction, or IT services
- Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives, analyze financial data, and lead teams.
- Expertise in Microsoft Suite and financial software like Sage.
