Accounts Receivable Specialist POST NUMBER: 449220
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and issue accurate invoices based on sales orders, contracts, or service agreements
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
- Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain and update customer records in the accounting system
- Communicate with internal teams (sales, support, project management) to resolve billing issues or disputes
- Prepare regular AR aging reports and assist with cash flow forecasting
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment status
- Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
- Support internal and external audits as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing, preferably in a technology or service-based company
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
