Job Title: Payroll Integration Systems (Time and Attendance) Consultant
Location: New York City, NY
Fully onsite
Duration: 3-6 months
Payrate: $60/hr -$70/hr
-Must have experience with Workforce ADP integrating with Kronos working with troubleshooting all Time and Attendance issues We are seeking a skilled Payroll Systems Consultant with deep expertise in ADP Workforce Now and UKG Kronos to lead integration, optimization, and issue resolution efforts between the two platforms. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between HR, payroll, and IT departments to ensure seamless data flow, timely payroll processing, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

System Integration:
-
Design, implement, and maintain the integration between Kronos (UKG) timekeeping systems and ADP Workforce Now payroll modules.

Configure data mapping and establish automated workflows for time and attendance data to flow accurately into payroll.

Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting:

Identify, analyze, and resolve integration and data issues affecting payroll accuracy or timing.

Act as a Tier 2/3 support escalation point for payroll system discrepancies and user-reported issues.

Collaborate with vendors (ADP and UKG) for advanced troubleshooting and case resolution.

Process Improvement:

Assess existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

Develop and maintain documentation of integration procedures and troubleshooting guides.

Compliance & Reporting:
-
Ensure data integrity and compliance with FLSA, state, and federal wage regulations.

Assist in audits and generate reports from both systems to support HR, payroll, and finance teams.

Training & Support:

Provide training and guidance to HR and payroll staff on system use, data entry best practices, and report generation.

Serve as an internal SME (subject matter expert) for both ADP Workforce Now and Kronos.

Qualifications:
Required:
-
5 years of experience in payroll systems administration, integration, or consulting.
-
Strong hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll and Kronos (UKG) timekeeping systems.

Proven track record of managing system integrations and troubleshooting time/payroll discrepancies.

Knowledge of payroll compliance and time & labor regulations.

Proficient in Excel and reporting tools; understanding of APIs, SFTP, and flat file data transfers.
Preferred:

Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft) used in integration.

ADP or Kronos certifications.

Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (JIRA, Asana).
