Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering team by setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Encourage and support the professional development of engineering team members helping them grow their leadership and technical skills.
- Prioritize and delegate engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to engineering teams in solving complex technical challenges.
- Oversee new product development and process optimization of EBM, ISBM, IM, and other manufacturing processes.
- Drive a mindset of continuous improvement in effort to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Manage engineering budgets, optimize resource utilization, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Work closely with production, quality control, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into full scale production.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental sustainability goals.
- Experience in GMP, ISO 9001:20015, lean manufacturing, 5S, process troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Strong technical expertise in plastic processing, including knowledge of polymer materials, tooling design, and equipment operation.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in blow molding and/or injection molding.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in hands-on equipment troubleshooting and repair. Minimum Technical Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with plastics or similar materials.
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in relevant manufacturing software programs (a plus).
- Has strong command of the English language with the ability to communicate fluently both verbally and in writing
- Strong understanding and practical experience working with 3D drawings and CAD documents
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel and Outlook?
