Our client is a fast-growing professional services firm specializing in cross-border tax, accounting, and legal advisory for individuals, trusts, and privately held businesses across Canada and the U.S. They are currently looking to add a Canadian Tax Manager to their team in Calgary.

About the Opportunity
- Prepare and review complex Canadian tax filings including T1, T2, T3, T5013, T106, and T1134
- Conduct tax-centric compilation engagements and identify tax planning opportunities
- Perform in-depth tax research and prepare clear, professional memos
- Liaise directly with CRA, legal counsel, and other professionals to implement planning and resolve matters
- Present internally and externally on relevant tax topics
- Oversee the engagement team, mentor junior staff, and help manage personal and trust tax season workflows
- Collaborate with the U.S. tax team on cross-border files and integrated planning strategies
About You
- Canadian CPA designation required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant Canadian tax experience
- Completion or near-completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program or Master’s in Taxation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with technology and able to support a high-efficiency team environment
Salary Range
$110,000–$120,000/year (based on experience)
