Vaco is seeking Dental Revenue Cycle Specialist to manage and improve the revenue cycle for a large dental provider. Work environment will be remote with potential for some travel. Director or Consultant experience strongly preferred.

Overview

This role involves ensuring compliance with dental benefit plans, optimizing billing processes for practices, and utilizing Henry Schein software to enhance efficiency. You’ll also collaborate with dental offices, insurance providers, and internal teams to improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire revenue cycle from patient registration to reimbursement, identifying and resolving inefficiencies.
  • Ensure accurate claims processing in compliance with dental benefit plans.
  • Optimize Henry Schein software for billing and claims management, and train staff on its use.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and generate reports to improve revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between offices, insurance providers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Conduct audits and recommend process improvements to reduce denials and maximize revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in dental billing or revenue cycle management.
  • Proficient in Henry Schein dental software (Dentrix, Easy Dental).
  • Strong understanding of dental benefit plans and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance carrier guidelines and HIPAA compliance is a plus.


Travel:
Minimal travel required, mostly in the first few weeks. Remote work.
