Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review audits for nonprofit, construction, and manufacturing clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and other professional standards
- Perform cold reviews and maintain quality control over financial statements
- Stay current with evolving accounting standards and implement updates
- Engage directly with clients to understand needs and deliver high-quality service
- Contribute to the growth of the audit practice and mentor junior staff
- Willingness to assist with tax returns during busy season (not required)
Qualifications
- CPA license required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- 4 years of recent public accounting audit experience
- Strong technical proficiency and ability to manage audits independently
- Experience with Single Audit, Construction, Manufacturing, and Not-for-Profit industries preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Thomson Reuters software (Engagement Manager, Workpapers CS, UltraTax) is a plus.
