  • Flexible Work Environment: Primarily on-site with flexibility as needed. The office is closed the week after tax day and the week following Christmas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and other professional standards
  • Perform cold reviews and maintain quality control over financial statements
  • Stay current with evolving accounting standards and implement updates
  • Engage directly with clients to understand needs and deliver high-quality service
  • Contribute to the growth of the audit practice and mentor junior staff
  • Willingness to assist with tax returns during busy season (not required)

Qualifications

  • CPA license required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • 4 years of recent public accounting audit experience
  • Strong technical proficiency and ability to manage audits independently
  • Experience with Single Audit, Construction, Manufacturing, and Not-for-Profit industries preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Thomson Reuters software (Engagement Manager, Workpapers CS, UltraTax) is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • 100% employer-paid healthcare for the employee
  • Immediate 401(k) vesting with employer match
  • 3.5 weeks of PTO
  • Office closures post-tax season and during the holidays
