

Benefits Analyst POST NUMBER: 449864
We’re seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to join a growing healthcare organization on a contract-to-hire basis. This role supports benefits administration across multiple business units during a period of growth and acquisition. The ideal candidate brings strong benefits experience, solid Excel skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume workload with professionalism and accuracy.
Duration: Contract - 3 months, potential to convert
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite weekly) | Office near Sandy Springs, GA
Hours: Standard business hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), COBRA, FMLA, and leaves of absence.
- Manage new hire enrollments, qualifying life events (QLEs), and open enrollment processes.
- Handle leave administration including FMLA, maternity/paternity, disability, and unpaid leave coordination.
- Audit and maintain benefits data across HRIS and carrier platforms; support compliance efforts (ACA, 5500 filings, audits).
- Liaise with vendors, HR, and payroll to ensure timely issue resolution and data accuracy.
- Assist with onboarding support for newly acquired business units.
- 2–4 years of hands-on benefits administration experience.
- Familiarity with plan documents, QLE processing, and ACA/COBRA compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of employee benefit programs and leave policies.
- HRIS experience (UKG, Workday, ADP, or similar); UKG highly preferred.
- Excel proficiency for audits, tracking, and reporting (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support employees at all levels.
- Experience supporting benefits in a high-growth or M&A environment.
- Healthcare or professional services industry background.
- HR certification or CEBS designation.
