Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Assistant to join our client's growing team. This full-time position will be responsible for managing invoicing processes, vendor payables, and supporting general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling financial transactions with accuracy and will play a key role in ensuring timely and precise billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process weekly client invoices using internal data sources, ensuring they are accurate and aligned with client formatting requirements

Compile and process related vendor payables in a timely manner

Code transactions in the general ledger in accordance with company procedures

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with both clients and vendors

Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial operations

Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as needed

Serve as a backup for invoicing or account tasks during team member absences

Assist with cash receipt tracking and application to the correct accounts

Support the setup and maintenance of customer and vendor records in financial systems

Process operating payables and assist with payment execution

Conduct margin analysis and reconciliation tasks
Qualifications:
-
3–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
-
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple responsibilities
-
Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
