

Assistant Controller POST NUMBER: 450705
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our finance team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and process optimization as we continue scaling. The ideal candidate brings both strategic insight and hands-on execution to support informed decision-making and financial health across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts to support business planning

Provide variance analysis and insights to guide executive-level decisions

Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, inventory, and tax compliance

Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, serving as the primary contact for external auditors

Maintain and optimize the NetSuite ERP system to support financial reporting and operational efficiency

Implement and improve financial processes and internal controls for accuracy, scalability, and compliance

Ensure system integrity and support integrations and upgrades as needed

Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering development and collaboration across departments

Support special projects, ad hoc analysis, and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
CPA preferred
-
8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial consolidations, and multi-entity accounting

Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience

Familiarity with inventory management, cost accounting, and business intelligence tools a plus

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities
